The
unit of certification shall be a clearly defined field or fields which may be
subdivided subject to special regulations for specific crops.
Fields producing seed for certification must be separated from other
fields by a definite boundary. Field
separation boundaries and isolation boundaries must be established and clearly
marked before the inspector arrives for field inspection.
