Experiment Station, Texas Agriculture
Experiment Station, ARS and SCS-USDA in 1974.
Texoka is a synthetic variety

Texoka is well adapted to
northwestern Texas, western Oklahoma, and western Kansas.
It is well suited for forage production on range
land, for control of erosion, and for turf
on recreational areas. Allowable classes
of seed will be Foundation and Certified.
