TEXOKA BUFFALOGRASS

                            Texoka Buffalograss was developed in Oklahoma and jointly released by the Oklahoma
                        Agriculture Experiment Station, Kansas Agriculture Experiment Station, Texas Agriculture
                        Experiment Station, ARS and SCS-USDA in 1974.
                            Texoka is a synthetic variety derived from 10 clines selected from Texas, Oklahoma
                        and Kansas buffalograss populations.  The most significant attribute of Texoka is its
                        high seed-production potential.
                            Texoka is well adapted to northwestern Texas, western Oklahoma, and western Kansas.
                        It is well suited for forage production on range land, for control of erosion, and for turf
                        on recreational areas.  Allowable classes of seed will be Foundation and Certified.
                        No Registered class.
