TAMSPAN 90 PEANUTS

Tamspan 90 was developed and released by the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station and the USDA in 1990.  It was derived by mass selection from a population of the cross Toalson X UF73422 made in 1975.  Tamspan 90 is a Spanish type peanut with good resistance to pod rot and Sclerotinia blight.  It is very similar in growth and appearance to the variety Starr and is higher yielding especially when Sclerotinia blight is present.

Four classes of Pedigreed Seed (Breeder, Foundation, Registered, and Certified) will be recognized.
