OLIN PEANUTS

    Olin is a Spanish peanut with elevated O/L ratio.  It has erect growth habit with sequential branching and flowers on the main stem.  Mature plants have many secondary lateral branches (9+) originating at the basal modes.  Leaf size, plant color, and height are similar to Tamspan 90.  Pod and seed size are slightly smaller than Tamspan 90.  Yields are slightly less than Tamspan 90 but TSMK are slightly higher.

    Olin is a protected variety under Title V of the Plant Variety Protection act to be sold by variety name only as a class of certified seed - PVPA 1994.

    Four classes of Pedigreed Seed (Breeder, Foundation, Registered and Certified) will be recognized.
